About the Course
The brain is supplied by two sets of arteries- the internal carotid and vertebral arteries. The major arteries anastomose at the base of the brain to form the circle of Willis. These arteries give short cortical anastomotic and long central branches inside the brain. Occlusion of the central arteries may be life threatening.-
