About the Course

This course equips learners to recognize and respond to hypothermia in pre-hospital settings. It begins with an overview of the burden of hypothermia, highlighting at-risk populations and environmental factors. They will learn to identify critical signs of illness early, initiate on-call guidance and on-scene interventions, and implement safe rewarming techniques. The course also includes protocols for enroute care, continuous monitoring, and accurate documentation and structured handover to ensure continuity of care.
