About the Course

This course equips learners to promptly recognize and manage stroke in pre-hospital settings. It covers the basics of stroke, including ischemic and hemorrhagic types, along with their key signs and symptoms. Learners will learn rapid assessment techniques like BE FAST, effective on-call and on-site response and how to initiate early care enroute. Emphasis is placed on time-sensitive decision-making, accurate documentation, and timely referral to stroke-ready centers. The course enhances the ability to reduce delays in stroke management, improving outcomes through early recognition and coordinated pre-hospital care.
