About the Course

In this module, we shall be understanding how National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) operates with a three-tier structure, involving National, State, and District levels, each with specific functions. We shall also learn about Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (COTPA) which is Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution Act, 2003 and other such related acts enforced by Government of India for Tobacco Control in the country.
