About the Course

The discussion on free radicals is with reference to the interaction of these with biologically relevant macromolecules and the biochemical and physicochemical changes that ensue within a cell. The major focus of this presentation is the interaction of free radical with lipids, biochemical assays which may be utilized to detect these and the role of antioxidants in mitigating these changes.
