In this course we will learn about the intraoperative management including maintenance of anaesthesia, monitoring, intravenous fluids administration and blood transfusion. We will discuss about the basic standard monitoring techniques during anaesthesia and surgery including ECG, BP, SPO2, ETCO2 and temperature. We will also learn about various intravenous fluids like crystalloids and colloids. Blood and blood products transfusion during surgery will also be briefly discussed.
