About the Course

Purpose: The Government of India launched the Integrated Disease Surveillance Project (IDSP) throughout the country for improving the surveillance of diseases and thereby facilitating the management of outbreaks more effectively. Doctors working at district and sub-district level must be well versed with the IDSP.  Time: Six hours Author: Dr Vivek Adhish, Professor, Mother and Child Health and Family Welfare, Acting Head, Hospital Administration Department, National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi. Prerequisite: Please read this unit after completing the first 5 units of the course on Epidemiology.
