About the Course

This course has been developed to offer learners a brief orientation of the National AIDS and STD Control Programme (NACP).

The course also discusses the provisions of the HIV and AIDS (Prevention & Control) Act, 2017, which is the primary legislation in India protecting the rights of people infected with and affected by HIV.

The course has been divided under 5 chapters and the learners will be assessed at the end of the course. The learners are expected to score a minimum of 60%, after which a certificate of completion will be issued.
